As the 2014 Lok Sabha election approaches, the support for Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi to become prime minister of the country is ground swelling with each passing day.
Now, the ‘Modi for PM’ chorus has been joined by Haryana Janhit Congress President and Lok Sabha MP from Hisar Kuldeep Bishnoi.
Bishnoi met Modi in Gandhinagar on Thursday and described him an ‘idol’ and ‘role model’ of development. He said the Gujarat chief minister is a visionary and legendary leader who has made place in the hearts of people across the world.
He also asserted that even youngsters in foreign countries hail Modi and believe that the country needs a leader like Modi who can lead India to become a developed nation.
“We are totally with him and India needs a leader like him,” said Bishnoi, who is the son of former Haryana Chief Minister Bhajan Lal. Bishnoi is considered to a strong contender for the post of the chief minister of Haryana.
Bishnoi, who was on maiden visit to Gujarat, said that he is deeply impressed with the development of Gujarat. He credited Modi with creating such developing in such a short span of time.
Bishnoi’s party is an ally in NDA. His support for Modi may put an end to all speculations that NDA allies would not support the Gujarat chief minister’s candidature as BJP’s PM nominee for upcoming general elections.
